Penguins pregame Report
The players have arrived at the Verizon Center as the Penguins look to get a split in Washington tonight and send the series back to Pittsburgh tied at 1-1.
While the buzz surronding this series has cleary been about Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin, some of the media buzz today has turned to NHL scoring champion Evgeni Malkin who struggled in game 1 and Capitals goaltender Simeon Varlamov.
There are not expected to be any

lineup changes for the Penguins tonight. Petr Sykora skated with the Evgeni Malkin and Ruslan Fedotenko this morning and Bylsma talked this morning that Sykora will remain in the lineup, atleast for another game.

Fedotenko – Malkin – Sykora

Dupuis – Talbot – Adams
Defensemen

Focus turns to the power play
The Penguins were 0-for-6 in game 1 and there will be one change on the power play as Bill Guerin will replace Chris Kunitz on the Penguins first power play. There is a move that has been needed as Guerin provides a stronger presence in front of the net and is more dangerous in the slot.
