The Phoenix Coyotes and Pittsburgh Penguins have pulled off two trades in the past two years and the two teams could be possible trade partners again.

D Derek Morris
Suitors: PIT, BOS, NYR, WAS, CLB, MIN, CAL, NJD
The Penguins scouted two of the Phoenix Coyotes games last week as Penguins scouts made a West coast swing.
The Penguins who are exploring all of their options right now including adding a top four defenseman, have inquired about Yotes defenseman Derek Morris and are quietly monitoring the market for Morris.
Morris is a player Penguins scouts have liked for sometime and don’t be surprised if they make an offer for Morris, if the Penguins fail to land a top tier winger (high cap hit)
Another defenseman the Penguins are believed to be looking at is Predators defenseman Greg Zanon but Morris is at the top of their wishlist.
Any Interest in Olli Jokinen?: The Coyotes are exploring the market for Olli Jokinen. To this point the Penguins haven’t moved on him. They were highly interested in Jokinen at last year’s trade deadline with the idea of Jokinen playing wing when the Panthers were shopping him.
Pittsburgh has $3.6 million in cap space (not pro-rated)
