The fact that you are comparing a goalie starting to a pitcher starting is enough to qualify you as an idiot. A pitcher might finish a game a couple times a year, where as it’s the exact opposite for a goalie. It’s about on par with the rest of your arguments. And to answer your question, you pull the goalie if you are down early and he is struggling. You don’t pull a goalie if you are winning or the game is tight later on. You know everything about goalies though so I doubt its even worth mentioning.
Like tbj just stated, there is a big difference between a pitcher and a goalie 1st off. Second… I dont know how much more fucking clear I could have made it. Seems like a reasonable guy to look at. 2nd round could be fair value. Where would he slot on this team? Top 6 seems to be playing well together. So Hudler seems like more of a depth bottom 6 scoring guy for us (all cup teams have a guy like him on 3rd line)
Would prefer to do Bonino for Hudler since Hudler still has control next year.
Would be fine with giving Fehr a significant rest if the team is doing well and have him ready for playoffs.
Hudler is a UFA at seasons end so there is no control beyond this year.
