Penn State’s Royster named Big Ten player of the week

The Big Ten Conference has announced Penn State tailback Evan Royster was named one of the Big Ten Conference’s three offensive players of the week. Royster rushed for 141 rushing yards on 17 carries and scored three touchdowns against the Oregon State Beavers. Minnesota quarterback Adam Weber and Michigan State tailback Javon Ringer also earned offensive player of the week honors. Royster and Penn State take on Syracuse Saturday afternoon.
