Insider Only Pens – Lightning Game 1 Morning Skate Update; Niskanen in?

Game 1 Morning Skate Report

After giving his team a few optional gameday skates in the final week of the regular season, head coach Dan Bylsma is going with a full skate this morning as the Penguins are going through their final on-ice preparations for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Everything is status quo for the Penguins on their top-4 lines.

1. Kunitz – Staal – Kennedy
2. Neal – Letestu – Kovalev
3. Conner – Talbot – Dupuis
4. Rupp – Adams – Asham
Sidney Crosby is centering Mike Comrie and Eric Godard on the 5th line. Eric Tangradi is feeling in as an extra.
Comrie will be the odd-man out tonight upfront, which had been expected.
The Power Play Units also remain the same for the Penguins:
1. Neal – Staal – Kovalev
Michalek – Letang
2. Kennedy – Letestu – Kennedy
Martin – Niskanen.
Updated: Based on how the skate has progressed, it looks like Matt Niskanen will be in the lineup tonight and Deryk Engelland will sit.
