Morning Skate Updates
RANGERS UPDATES
Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will make his 4th straight start in goal for New York. Lundqvist is 9-8-1 on the season with a 2.61 GAA. He is coming off a 2-1 shootout win against the Nashville Predators on Saturday night. Lundqvist made 29 saves in the win.
Rangers head coach John Tortorella said this morning that Marian Gaborik will be a game time decision. Gaborik did participate in the morning skate but he’s iffy for tonight as he’s battling an illness.
Just last week, Tortorella called Gaborik out through the media for his lackluster play this season. Gaborik has 4 goals and 6 assists in 12 games this season.
Enforcer Derek Boogaard remains out with a shoulder strain.
PENGUINS UPDATES
Penguins forwards Arron Asham and Mike Comrie are not participating in the morning skate. Comrie is not expected to be available tonight but for what reason remains unclear. It’s believed he is bothered by a groin injury.
The absence of Asham who is ill, will likely force the Penguins to put Eric Godard in the lineup by default as the Penguins only have 12 healthy forwards.

Penguins Projected Lineup
Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis
Cooke-Malkin-Talbot
Conner-Letestu-Kennedy
Rupp-Adams-Godard
Defensemen
