Post-Practice Buzz

*Head coach Dan Bylsma confirmed after practice that defenseman Zbynek Michalek will be sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks due to a broken finger.
*Evgeni Malkin looked strong in today’s practice and will travel with the team to Long Island. Indications are we will are likely to see him in one of the next two games.

No decision from the coaching staff has been made on Malkin’s status for tomorrow.
*Sidney Crosby is not under any consideration to play tomorrow night and will remain in Pittsburgh for rehab
