TSN’s Hockey Insider Darren Dreger is reporting that the Lightning front office is debating whether or not to deal star forward Vincent Lecavalier.
Tampa general manager Brian Lawton is said to be fielding interest in Lecavalier with the Montreal Canadiens appearing at the forefront. Players rumored to be involved in talks with Montreal GM Bob Gainey are Chris Higgins, Tomas Plekanec, and prospect PK Subban.
Briere could return against Pens
Daniel Briere who has been sidelined since December 2nd, practiced on Monday and could return Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
