Week 9 Mike Tomlin Press Conference News & Notes
Santonio Holmes visited with Tomlin yesterday and Holmes addressed his peers. The Steelers are putting the situation behind them and Holmes will be practicing this week. Tomlin also indicated Holmes will return to the starting lineup

Greg Warren – Successful knee surgery, out for the year. No decision on the four long snappers the Steelers brought in. All four were in the building this morning.
Questionable
Willie Parker – Worked out this morning and the Steelers will see how he feels on Thursday and Friday.
Marvel Smith – Day to Day ( Back Spasms)
Mitch Berger – Hamstring strain. His status is up in the air
Doubtful
Ryan Clark – Doubtful but better than they anticipated
Probable
Casey Hampton – Day to Day (Turf Toe)
Ben Roethlisberger – Day to Day (Right Shoulder)
Smith to start if healthy: Marvel Smith will return to the starting lineup if he plays Monday night against the Washington Redskins
Tomlin was asked about the Kick Return game and said Najeh Davinport is their only option right now and it doesn’t look like the Steelers are exploring any other options.
Tyrone Carter is the front runner to start for Ryan Clark this week but Anthony Smith is getting some consideration according to Tomlin
Hines Ward is the emergency place holder if Mitch Berger is not available this week
