Despite outgaining the San Diego Chargers 410 – 216 the Steelers had to rally in the fourth quarter behind Ben Roethlisberger’s 1st 300 yard passing game at home since November of 2006, and Jeff Reed’s third field goal with 11 seconds left in the game won it for the Steelers 11-10 over the San Diego Chargers. Ben Roethlisberger was efficient with precise passes and passed for 308 yards on a season-high 41 attempts but the Steelers failed to get in the end zone. For the second straight week the Steelers struggled to score with rushing plays on the goal line. Running back Willie Parker who missed last week’s game with a shoulder injury rushed for 115 yards, his third 100 yard game in 5 games this season.
