Steelers Tuesday Notes
The Steelers injury report was lengthy this afternoon as the Steelers are coming off a 27-21 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
*Safety Will Allen, running back Mewelde Moore and Isaac Redman all suffered concussions in the win. All three players will go through the appropriate post-concussion tests this week.
If Redman and Moore are unable to play this weekend, it will force the Steelers to dress rookie Jonathan Dwyer and possibility sign 2009 5th round pick Frank Summers to the active roster.
*According to head coach Mike Tomlin, Brett Keisel is still working through his hamstring injury. His status won’t be known until probably game time on Sunday.
*Starting left guard Chris Kemoeuatu has a knee sprain. The team is hopeful to work him in later in the week but at this time, Kemoeatu is questionable for New England. Doug Legursky will start at left guard if Kemoeatu is unable to go.
*Tight end Heath Miller has fluid in his knee and is expected to be limited earlier in the week.
*Starting center Maurkice Pouncey suffered a tibia bruise and is fine. He is not expected to miss anytime.
