In an expected move, the Pittsburgh Steelers have officially released wide receiver Lance Moore. The team saves $1.5 million in cap space and now have around $13 million in cap space and that number will grow with more cuts.
After coming over from New Orleans, Moore had 14 catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns, making little impact as the Steelers No. 4 receiver.
He initially started the season as the Steelers No. 5 receiver.
