Notes: Safety Mike Mitchell (groin) and running back Alvester Alexander have been placed on the team’s PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) List. It’s expected that Mitchell will be back on the field in about a week. He was injured during training…..Ramon Foster will miss the first couple days of camp as his mother died suddenly. The Steelers first practice is tomorrow afternoon at 2:55 p.m. Things really get going on Monday which is the first pads practice. That’s a day Mike Tomlin sure sounded excited about today…..Tomlin said Maurkice Pouncey is “ready to go” after coming back from a torn ACL…. Don’t look for Tomlin to be talking about the Steelers new found speed on both sides of the ball anymore. “It’s football, not a track meet,” Tomlin said.
