Steelers – Tuesday

The Pittsburgh Steelers banged up secondary could be getting one of their top three cornerbacks back but it won’t be Ike Taylor.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin claimed today that while Taylor is progressing and is out of a walking boot, Taylor has been ruled out of Sunday’s game. Taylor has missed the last two games and his ankle injury has long been regarded as a three to six week injury. While Taylor will remain out, there is optimism of Cortez Allen playing this week after missing Sunday’s game due to a groin injury. Allen will practice, according to Tomlin. Meanwhile, the Steelers signed cornerback Justin King and placed Demarcus Van Dyke on IR

Elsewhere on the injury front, Tomlin expects cornerback Keenan Lewis to play and RT Mike Adams will practice this week and could become an option to play Sunday. WR Emannuel Sanders has a cracked rib and could miss Sunday’s game.
