The Skip Tencer Memorial Scholarship Fund

As some of you may know, my family and I started a Cal U Scholarship in memory of my grandmother Margaret “Skip” Tencer who passed away from Lung Cancer in August 2008. My grandmother was an extremely hard worker in the food service industry and was also an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan.

The scholarship in honor of my grandmother will not necessarily go to a student with the best grades but will go to a student who exemplifies a great work ethic in and out of the class room and who financially may have trouble affording a college education.

This year the fundraiser is two chances on each ticket to win the following:

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS HOCKEY: 2 TICKETS for the Penguins HISTORIC HOME OPENER at the NEW Consol Energy Center.

When: Thursday, October 7th vs. Philadelphia Flyers

Seats: Section 109-Row T

The winning ticket also includes the following:

Saturday, January 22nd vs. Carolina Hurricanes

(Marriott City Center near arena-cannot be used for home opener game)
