Coming off a game 1 loss to the Ottawa Senators Wednesday night, the Penguins were back on the ice this morning for an 11:00 a.m. practice.
Not looking to divulge anything, the Penguins went through a light skate focused on skills drills.
Whether it’s a ploy to light a fire under Ruslan Fedotenko, head coach Dan Bylsma bumped Fedotenko off the second line in today’s skate.

Fedotenko who has two goals in his last 20 games, had just 10:50 of ice time in Game 1 and zero shots on goal.
Fedotenko took a regular shift this morning with Eric Godard on the 5th line.
Michael Rupp who was a surprise scratch last night due to Chris Kunitz being cleared to play, was on the 4th line with Max Talbot and Craig Adams.
Pascal Dupuis who saw time on the 1st and 4th line in Wednesday’s game, took a regular shift on Evgeni Malkin’s right wing this morning.
Brooks Orpik and Sergei Gonchar remained a pairing this morning.
Goaltender Brent Johnson is ill and did not practice.
