Tyler Kennedy is ill and won’t be in the lineup tonight vs the New York Islanders. Kennedy’s illness prompted the callup of Trevor Smith who will play tonight.
In addition to Kennedy, also scratched from the lineup tonight is Kris Letang (lower body), and Robert Bortuzzo (healthy scratch). Evgeni Malkin is on IR and will miss his seventh straight game.
