Ultra-marathoner Phil Rosenstein is running across the United States to raise awareness for the Mario Lemieux Foundation. As he is near completion of a 100-day amazing transcontinental journey, Rosenstein will be in Pittsburgh Wednesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 6.
He will be honored by the Mario Lemieux Foundation during the Pittsburgh Penguins home game Thursday. Rosenstein started his journey in Santa Monica, California, on August 10. He completed the entire Route 66 to Chicago, and plans to complete his run, via Pittsburgh, ending in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in the next two weeks. Phil’s achievement is chronicled in “Phil’s Blog” at www.mariolemieux.org.
While in Pittsburgh, and in addition to attending the Pens game, Rosenstein will tour the Children’s Home and Lemieux Family Center.
