William Gay William Gay’s return to the Steelers hasn’t been as bad as many thought it would be.

Gay made his mark vs the Ravens with two big pass breakups and leads the Steelers with 4 pass defensed on the season. Gay allowed 3 receptions for 29 yards vs the Ravens and the coaching staff views him as a better option on the outside than Cortez Allen who entered camp as the starting LCB.
Listed as “co-starter at left cornerback”, Gay is likely to make his third straight start at LCB with Cortez Allen playing inside where he’s showed so much promise in the past.
Moving forward the next couple weeks, Allen’s best spot could be on the inside as he’s likely to shadow Rob Gronkowski in a week 9 matchup vs New England.
