Today was the deadline for offer sheets and as expected, right tackle Willie Colon has signed his one year tender.
It has been confirmed by agent Joe Linta. Colon will receive $2.521 million in 2010.
Linta expressed frustration last month to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review about the Steelers not making Colon a long-term priority and is believed to have actively sought an offer sheet from other teams.
The 26 year old Colon has been the Steelers starting right tackle for three seasons.
