Flyers to sign 40 year old Mike Knuble

With Scott Hartnell out for possibly up to eight weeks with a broken foot, the Flyers are signing 40 year old Mike Knuble.
Knuble, 40, played for the Flyers from 2005-2009.
Knuble collected eight straight 20 goal seasons from 2002-2003 through 2010-2011, but saw a significant drop in his play last season with the Washington Capitals, going from 24 goals in 2010-2011 to just 6 goals and 18 points last season.
Regarded as a great locker room guy, Knuble will be brought in to provide some leadership and help fill the void of Scott Hartnell as a net-front presence.
