The Pittsburgh Penguins have called a press conference for 11:30 a.m. this morning. No information from the team has been given on who will be talking but the press conference is believed to center around the futures of head coach Dan Bylsma, coaching staff, and GM Ray Shero.
No mention of Shero speaking in the presser does not bode well for him as sources say there has been a strong push from co-owner Ron Burkle and Team President David Morehouse for a complete overhaul with the coaching staff and management level, notably Bylsma and Shero.
One source told me that the prevailing thought in the organization out of meetings Thursday is that you fire Bylsma, you have to fire Shero. No way around it.
