Harrison won’t play vs Ravens
Steelers linebacker James Harrison will not return to action vs the Baltimore Ravens, contrary to reports indicating he will.
Harrison was cleared by team doctors today for practice but Harrison said on his facebook page this evening that he won’t be playing this weekend but was happy to be cleared for practice.
The expectation from Harrison and team doctors is that he could be able to return next week vs the Cincinnati Bengals. The reason that Harrison won’t be cleared to play this weekend against Baltimore is because the fear of infection is still there.
Harrison broke his orbital bone on October 2nd against the Houston Texans. The injury was expected to sideline him for 4 to 6 weeks.
Meanwhile, LaMarr Woodley’s injury situation will be a wait and see situation. Those ruiling him out already are jumping the gun, according to team sources.

An MRI revealed no tear to Woodley’s hamstring and his injury is not considered serious. Hamstrings though are tricky which has a lot of guessing going around regarding Woodley’s availability for next Sunday night.
We’ll see how things play out later in the week.
