*****Notes*****
Top outfielder prospect Jose Tabata continues his hot start of the season, going 2-for-5 in the Indians 7-4 loss Friday night.
Tabata has hit safely in all eight games that he has appeared in and is batting .351 (13-for-37) with three RBI’s, three runs scored and a team best five stolen bases.
Tabata’s patience, ability to hit for contact has drawn praise from scouts but his lack of power remains a concern for evaluators as Tabata has just 2 doubles on the season.

Top prospect Pedro Alvarez belted his 4th home run of the season, hitting a solo home run in the 4th inning.

Alvarez went 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and is batting .257 on the season. After striking out six times in his first four games, Alvarez has just two strikeouts in his last five games.
Indianapolis reliever Jeff Kartstens (3.0 IP, 8 H< 6 R, 5 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO) allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits over three innings to take the loss.
