Forward Miroslav Satan will be healthy scratch tonight against the Tampa Lightning, head coach Michel Therrien announced following the Penguins optional skate this morning. Satan has two goals in 21 games.
Forward Luca Caputi will begin the game with Petr Sykora and Jordan Staal. Caputi is expected to remain with the team until Ruslan Fedotenko returns to the lineup next week. If he continues to play well and provide a spark, Caputi will remain with the team after that but the plan coming in was to just get him some game and practice experience at the NHL level.
Defenseman Hal Gill will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch against the Canadiens Tuesday night.

Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park to Meet Thursday in Second Game of PIHL Charity Series
Mt. Lebanon will take on Bethel Park on Thursday night at the South Park Ice Rink in the second of a series of three outdoor games featuring teams from the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL).
Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato will drop the ceremonial first puck for the 7 p.m. game. He will be joined by Pittsburgh Penguins president David Morehouse.
The “PIHL Outdoor Charity Series” is presented by the Centers for Rehab Services, a part of UPMC. Proceeds from the series will benefit the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International.
