The Arizona Cardinals boast the league’s top wide receiver tandem in the NFL with Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. Boldin who has three years left on the four-year, $22.75 million extension he signed after the 2005 season, demanded a trade in August and claimed he has no relationship with coach Ken Whisenhunt. On Sunday, cameras showed Boldin arguing with offensive coordinator Todd Haley in a heated discussion on the sideline after the Cardinals used only one receiver in 9 of their final 14 plays. According to reports, once the game ended, Boldin left the field quickly without celebrating and was seen leaving out the back door.
With all the media coverage during the week leading up to the Super Bowl, Boldin could become a major distraction for the Cardinals as they prepare for the Steelers.
