NFL commissioner Roger Goodell held his first press conference at the NFL meetings in Orlando, Florida. Goodell touch based on a number of subjects, including Pittsburgh Steelers star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Goodell said today that he will be meeting with Roethlisberger in the near future. “I spoke with the Steelers and Art Rooney about it and, at some point, I will be meeting with Ben at the appropriate time, ” Goodell said.
Goodell indicated that he is concerned with Roethlisberger. “The most important thing is we take the issue seriously, Goodell said. “We are concerned that Ben continues to put himself in this position.”
Mike Tomlin told the NFL network on Sunday that he is concerned for Roethlisberger and the franchise.

League sources indicate a meeting is likely to happen a week or two before the NFL draft.
