Adams mobility at Tackle has been on display

While all of the talk is on Jonathan Dwyer likely supplanting Rashard Mendenhall as the Steelers starting running back for the immediate future, could Mike Adams supplant Marcus Gilbert as the Steelers starting right tackle?
Adams the Steelers second round pick, pegged as the Steelers long-term left tackle, has had the type of performance we saw from Gilbert last season during his rookie season when Gilbert was thrusted into the lineup due to injury. Gilbert came into this season with high expectations but when healthy his play has been below the line.
The Steelers offensive is taking off right now and with Gilbert likely out a few more weeks, Adams has an opportunity to hold off Gilbert for the starting job (when Gilbert is ready to return).
Immediate reactions from some observers is that Adams might in fact be an upgrade over Gilbert. Those inside the organization have praised Adams mobility at the tackle position and multiple Steelers officials believe Gilbert could lose his starting job by default due to Adams emergence if he continues on the upswing.
