Sykora waiting on Dany Heatley?

Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Petr Sykora could be joining the Ottawa Senators, if the Senators trade Dany Heatley.
The Toronto Sun reports, “The Senators are keeping their options open up front.”
“While the club still is holding talks with unrestricted free-agent centre Mike Comrie, league sources say GM Bryan Murray has also held serious discussions with winger Petr Sykora and he’s at the top of the Senators’ radar screen if they can trade disgruntled winger Dany Heatley before training camp.”
With training camps to open in 13 days, Sykora has been in a holding pattern with a number of teams.
1. Philadelphia – very interested but doesn’t have the cap space
2. Tampa – expressed interest, never made an offer…..top choice was Alex Tanguay,
3. New Jersey – kicking the tires on Sykora but according to Sykora’s camp no offer has been made.
4. Minnesota – Minimal interest at best. Moving to an up-tempo style, Sykora is not a great fit. Allan Walsh the agent for Sykora has indicated on a number of occasions that Sykora is looking for a situation that fits his style.
*Ottawa makes sense from the standpoint that Bryan Murray knows Sykora well. Murray was the GM of the Anaheim Ducks during the Ducks Stanley Cup run in 2003.
Sykora was a top-2 line player then
