Pittsburgh Penguins forward Miroslav Satan has been offered a two year deal worth $6.2 million ($3.1 million per season) from his former team Barys Astana of the KHL according to league sources.
Calls to Allan Walsh, the agent for Miroslav Satan were not returned Friday afternoon.
Sources close to Walsh have indicated recently that Satan prefers to continue to play in the NHL which was a reason he accepted his assignment Wilkes Barre/Scranton in March.
Satan, 34, has 6 points in 11 games and signed a one year deal worth $3.5 million this past summer.
James Mirtle first reported this week that Barys Astana was expressing interest in Satan.
