9X Pro Bowler Russell Wilson will sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, agreeing to a one year, $1.2 million contract with the Steelers. Pittsburgh after meeting with Wilson on Friday, made an aggressive sales pitch to Wilson that the former Super Bowl Winner will be given a legitimate chance to unseat third year pro Kenny Pickett for the starting QB job. Wilson who threw for 26 touchdowns in 2023, will be paid $37.8 million from the Denver Broncos in 2024 which paved the way for the Steelers to sign Wilson to the league minimum.
