DePaoli’s got the inside scoop from practice. Read more for the latest from this mornings workout and the lines Michel Therrien went with.

Here were the Lines at this morning’s practice
Fedotenko – Crosby – Satan
Staal – Malkin – Kennedy
Dupuis – Talbot – Cooke
Bissonnette – Thomas – Godard
Orpik – Letang
Gill – Scuderi
Eaton – Goligoski
Sydor
Tyler Kennedy remains on Evgeni Malkin’s line with Petr Sykora sidelined. The first line remains the same with 26-87-81. Crosby and Satan were working on one timers in practice. Satan appears to be looking to find his shot. On defense Daryl Sydor alternated in with Mark Eaton and Alex Goligoski. Sydor is a step below the rest.
The Penguins worked on a lot of breakouts with an emphasis on neutral zone re-group and D-Zone coverage. The Penguins feel comfortable with Bill Thomas as the teams 4th line center right now until Sykora returns.
Michel Therrien is trying to find his right combination on the power play. It appears were going to see two #1 power plays. At least that’s the way it looks through the last two practices
Staal/Fedotenko – Crosby – Satan
Left point Goligoski/Letang – Right point – Malkin
Staal and Fedotenko continue to rotate and the same for Goligoski and Letang
Kennedy – Crosby – Malkin
Goligoski – Letang
This power play unit has been the most effective in practice but I think the unit of Staal – Crosby – Satan will be the primary unit for Saturday’s game
Word is Evgeni Malkin will continue to see plenty of time on the penalty kill.
