Insider Only Vance Worley struggles with command in 4-0 loss to Cubs

 Vance Worley (2-2) went six innings and allowed nine hits and four runs in the Pirates 4-0 loss to the Cubs on Monday night. “I made some good pitches and they put them where they weren’t,” Worley said via the AP. “It was pretty simple.” Worley struggled with his command, throwing just 11 first pitch strikes to the 26 batters he faced, and fell into 2-0 holes in the pitch count, nine times.
