Flyers in on Thrashers Kari Lehtonen and Wilds Niklas Backstrom?

The Philadelphia Flyers search for a #1 goaltender continues. Darren Dreger of TSN.CA reports, “Thrashers goalie Kari Lehtonen is of interest to the Flyers. If Atlanta GM Don Waddell continues to rebuild, swapping Lehtonen for a prospect such as Van Riemsdyk would have to be seriously considered.”
A source in Pittsburgh tells me there’s been some talk lately that the Flyers are also in play for Minnesota Wild goaltender Niklas Backstrom. Despite being in the middle of a playoff chase, Wild GM Doug Risebrough is listening to offers for Backstrom who is expected to test the free agent market.
