The Penguins just concluded their morning skate as they look to win both games in Pittsburgh and even the series at 2-2.
Lines in the morning skate
Kunitz – Crosby – Guerin

It doesn’t appear there will be any lineup changes but Dan Bylsma would not confirm the lineup, during his press conference session following the skate.
* Petr Sykora was the extra forward during “all” drills.
For the Capitals, defenseman John Erskine is currently on the ice. Erksine has missed two straight games with a lower leg injury.
Sergei Fedorov is skating the with Capitals top unit and is expected to play. He missed a portion of game 3 with a rib injury.
*Alexander Semin is currently not skating but he is expected to play
Bruce Boudreau called Sidney Crosby the “second best player in the world”, when speaking to the media this morning about the matchup problems, Crosby causes for the Capitals. Boudreau added,

“Yeah, he’s the second-best player in the world. Of course he poses problems. He’s the best player we play against.”

* Alexander Semin did not skate during the teams morning skate. He is expected to play.
* Michael Nylander did not take any reps with the top four lines. Appears he will be a healthy scratch unless Semin or Fehr do not play.
* Forward Eric Fehr skated for the first 10 minutes of the skate and then was off the ice. Game Time Decision but he didn’t take any reps with the top four lines as he was off the ice when they went into breakout drills. – likely out
Erskine split reps with Tyler Sloan. No word on his status yet either, likely a game time decision.
The Capitals lineup for tonight won’t be known until warmups.
