The Latest Penguins Buzz
It’s believed that Stephen Bartlett, the agent for Rob Scuderi will have an asking price of $4 million per season, if Scuderi hits the open market on July 1.
Bartlett and Shero will

touch base again early in the week according to sources.
There have been internal discussions about making a 5 year – $10.5 million offer, but no such offer has been made to this point and it remains to be seen if one will.
If Scuderi were to take a hometown discount of $1.3-$1.5 million per season to stay with the Penguins, it would mean the end to Mark Eaton who would not be back for the 2010-2011 season.
Pesonen Update
The Penguins have been in contact with Janne Pesonen. Pesonen is currently looking for a one way contract.
Pittsburgh hasn’t ruled out a return but don’t count on it. Minnesota could be a potential landing spot.
